A Complete Eye Exam is More than Just a Vision Test

When you come to our office, you will be given friendly, courteous, professional eye care. We evaluate both the quality of your vision, and the total health of your eyes.

Your eye examination will consist of different tests, each with a specific purpose in the evaluation of your sight and your eye health. These tests include:

●Refraction - Vision analysis.
●Ophthalmoscopy - Evaluate the health of the inside of the eye; retina, optic nerve, macula, blood vessels.
●Tonometry - Glaucoma test.
●Color Vision - To see if you have normal color perception.
●Muscle Balance - Tests how well your eyes work together.
●Visual Fields - Peripheral (side) vision.
●Slit Lamp Biomicroscopy - Microscopic examination of the eye.
●Retinal Photography - Color, high resolution digital image of the inside of your eyes.
●Corneal Topography - Surface map of the front of the eye, for accurate contact lens prescriptions, and diagnosis of disease.
●PRIO Computer Vision Testing - The most accurate method to determine lens strength for comfortable computer use.
